Four Lawyers from SRS to speak at the 59th UIA Congress

Pedro Rebelo de Sousa, José Luis Moreira da Silva and Paulo Bandeira, Partners at SRS Advogados, and Manuel Teves Vieira, Lawyer at SRS Advogados will be speakers at the 59th UIA Congress to be held in Valencia, Spain, from 28 to 31 October 2015.

The UIA annual congress brings together approximately 300 international speakers and 1,200 lawyers from more than 70 countries. This year the congress main themes are "The Impact of Globalization and Mobility on Immigration Law and Trade Marks in Sport".

José Luis Moreira da Silva will be president of the Administrative law session, at which Manuel Teves Vieira will be talking on "Expropriation of Property Rights".

Paulo Bandeira will be talking on the "Funding, Acquisition and Restructuring of Sports Clubs and Activities" at the Mergers and Acquisitions/Corporate law session.

Pedro Rebelo de Sousa will be president of the Banking Law/Finance Services session within the theme of "Shadow Banking: Towards a diversification of the players in the financial sector". He will also be coordinating the Portuguese Speaking Lawyers Forum.
