SRS Advogados advises Pathena on investment in EbankIT

SRS Advogados advises Pathena, a Portuguese venture capital fund, in relation to its investment in EbankIT, a Portuguese omnichannel technology company specialising in the development of digital platforms for the financial sector.

The team at SRS Advogados was coordinated by Gustavo Ordonhas Oliveira (Partner, Private Equity & Venture Capital) and Neuza Pereira de Campos (Managing Associate). The team included lawyers from various departments at SRS Advogados, who were involved in the due diligence and drafting, as well as negotiation of transaction agreements.

The investment, which included the acquisition of 25% of the share capital of EbankIT, provides the necessary funds to accelerate the international expansion of EbankIT and the implementation of an international integrator ecosystem to ensure the growth of EbankIT as the world reference player in software development for the financial sector channels.

EbankIT was founded in 2014 as a spin-off from IT Sector and was recently awarded as "Best of Show" at Finovate Europe in London, the largest and most important international trade fair for technological solutions for the financial sector.
