Fifth Edition of Startup Laby by SRS begins on April 29
SRS Legal and UNION Venture Builders are proud to announce that the fifth edition of the Startup Lab by SRS will begin on 29 April 2024.
In this edition, up to 12 will be a part of the programme, which is scheduled to end on 4 July.
Startup Lab by SRS is an innovative acceleration and investment programme that brings together the best of two entities with vast experience in the market, boosting the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Portugal. The partnership between SRS Legal and UNION Venture Builders combines decades of legal experience with expertise in start-up development and investment.
Following the success of the fourth edition - which ran from October to December 2023 - SRS Legal and UNION Venture Builders remain committed to providing the tools, resources and support needed to foster the success of the selected startups.
The programme continues to be guided by three pillars:
1. UNION Nest: Focuses on the ideation and incubation phase, combining the experience of SRS Legal with the expertise of UNION Venture Builders.
2. UNION Builder: Supports the validation and execution of business plans with the support of experienced executives.
3. UNION Capital: Offers access to capital and investment resources to help startups grow.

For over 30 years, SRS Legal has been providing full-service advice to national and international clients in all business areas. The firm has more than a hundred lawyers from various practice areas to respond to the needs of clients quickly, empathetically and innovatively.
It developed StartupLab by SRS, the first start-up accelerator developed and powered by a Portuguese law firm, together with specialized partners, dedicated to the development of products and solutions for service companies. The project has been running for five years and has already involved more than 20 startups alumni, several of which invested after attending the programme.
