João Maricoto Monteiro, Partner at SRS Advogados, to coordinate new Taxation and Economic Criminal Law Department

SRS Advogados has merged its Taxation Department and Economic Criminal Law Department in an internal reorganisation, with Partner João Maricoto Monteiro coordinating the new team.

A graduate of the Catholic University of Portugal, with a Diploma in International Taxation from Robert Kennedy University, Zurich, João Maricoto Monteiro has more than twenty years' experience in taxation law. He has been recognised by the Portuguese Bar Association as a Taxation Law Expert since 2004, when that specialism was first recognised. The SRS Advogados Partner is also a founding member of "Criminal Law Forum - Association of Criminal Lawyers".

"I am excited about this new challenge and confident that the change will ensure continued improvement of the legal services we offer," said João Maricoto Monteiro. "The merger of these two areas and teams will allow us to offer an even more effective service, based on innovative solutions which meet all our clients' business needs," he added.
