José Carlos Soares Machado to analyse Genealogy in the 1ª Conference on Aristocratic Law

José Carlos Soares Machado, Partner at SRS Advogados, will be speaking at the first Conference on Aristocratic Law, organized by the Research Centre for Private Law (CIDP) at the University of Lisbon's Law Faculty. The President of the Board of the Portuguese Genealogy Association will examine the topic of 'Genealogy and Law'.

 The CIDP's new initiative aims to advance academic knowledge of a little understood area, aristocratic law.

The event, which takes place on the 19^th February, is sponsored by HRH the Duke of Braganza and has the official support of the Portuguese History Academy, the Portuguese Institute of Nobility, the Portuguese Institute of Heraldry, the Royal Association of Lisbon, and the Portuguese Genealogical Association.
