Maria Paula Milheirão was a speaker at the CEO Conference 2022, organised by Associação Portuguesa de Franchising (the Portuguese Franchising Association), which took place on 7 November at Casa do Brasil, in Lisbon.

SRS Legal's Partner was part of the roundtable with the theme Fiscalidade e legislação de franchising no mercado Europeu (Taxation and Franchising Legislation in the European Market), which also included Cavaleiro Machado and Ernesto Carvalho, both from Cavaleiro Machado Advogados, and was moderated by Cristina Matos, CEO of tAssociação Portuguesa de Franchising. Maria Paula Milheirão focused - as a specialist in international contracts - on the challenges facing franchising systems, the legal framework, contractualisation, termination and possible resolution of disputes, trends and solutions that are envisaged at a European level.
