SRS Advogados advised Fleetmatics on the acquisition of Inosat

SRS Advogados advised Fleetmatics, a US company listed on NYSE-Nasdaq, on the acquisition of Inosat, a Portuguese company that is a leader in fleet management solutions.

The team at SRS Advogados included William Smithson (Partner), Gustavo Ordonhas Oliveira (Partner), Neuza Pereira de Campos (Managing Associate) and Francisco Martins Caetano, as well as other lawyers from various departments at SRS Advogados who were involved in the different stages of due diligence and drafting and negotiation of transaction agreements. The team was also responsible for the global coordination of the law firms advising Fleetmatics in other jurisdictions such as Brazil, Chile and Malta.

The transaction included the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Inosat and allows Fleetmatics to extend its global footprint and continue its European expansion.

Fleetmatics is listed on NYSE-Nasdaq and a leading global provider of mobile workforce solutions for service-based businesses of all sizes delivered as software-as-a-service (SaaS).

Inosat was founded in 2000 and is specialised in fleet management solutions with GPS and development, production and distribution of tracking and location products and services.
