SRS Advogados reinforces Tax Law and White Collar Crimes practice areas

João Maricoto Monteiro reinforces the Tax Law and White Collar Crimes practice areas at SRS Advogados. Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Lisbon, Tax Law Specialist Lawyer and Arbitrator in tax matters by the Administrative Arbitration Centre, the Lawyer has a diploma in International Tax Law from Robert Kennedy University (Zurich) and is Member of the Portuguese Tax Association, the International Fiscal Association and the International Tax Planning Association.

João developed his professional activity over almost two decades in PLMJ where he was Partner in the areas of Tax Law and White Collar Crimes, having also being Partner at Pares Advogados where he coordinated those areas.

By hiring João, SRS Advogados intends to take another step in affirming and strengthening the area of ​​tax law, specifically in the area of ​​tax litigation strategy as well as in White Collar Crimes Area. João Maricoto Monteiro has ensured the tax area of large Portuguese companies and defended clients in cases with high media relevance.
