SRS Legal advises Grupo Presto on its Acquisition of Segmon

                                The transaction marks the Swedish group’s entry into the Portuguese market

SRS Legal advised Grupo Presto on its acquisition of Segmon – Sistemas Globais de Segurança, Lda., a Portuguese company specialising in fire protection solutions.

The team leading the transaction included Alexandra Valente, partner and head of the Corporate & Finance Department, and associate Clara Andrade Coelho.

This transaction enables Grupo Presto to establish a platform for developing its business in Portugal, continuing its expansion across Europe.

Founded in Sweden in 1959, Grupo Presto operates in the fields of fire protection and safety training, with a presence in several European markets.

Segmon provides design, installation and maintenance services for fire protection systems and was established in Coimbra in 2006.

Following the acquisition, Segmon will retain its brand and current management team, while becoming part of Grupo Presto’s international structure.
