SRS Legal and UNION Venture Builders partner to drive entrepeneurship and foster startups in Portugal

Combining SRS Legal's recognition in the market, its experience in legal issues and its extensive 10-year work with agents (startups and VCs) of the ecosystem, with UNION Venture Builders' experience in developing and creating startups, the two companies create a structure that will allow entrepreneurs to go further and more successfully in their innovation journey.

This partnership aims to contribute to building a solid ecosystem of entrepreneurship in Portugal, aiming to consistently impact the global market, in a model that is divided into three sustaining pillars: UNION Nest, which covers the idea and incubation phase; UNION Builder, to support the creation and development of startups in the venture builder model; and UNION Capital, a funding and investment hub.

The ideation and incubation structure - UNION Nest - will be developed through the renowned Startup Lab by SRS programme, in a format that combines the experience accumulated in the last five years by SRS Legal, with UNION's panel of experts, offering a learning environment to refine ideas and transform them into viable business plans. Applications are now open and the programme is scheduled to start in September 2023.

At a later stage of the projects, the UNION Builder works to validate and execute the business plans with the support of experienced executives. This programme operates on an ongoing basis.

The UNION Capital funding and investment hub provides access to capital and investment resources to help companies grow and scale. Like Builder, Capital also works on an ongoing basis.
