SRS Legal hires Mónica Azevedo for the Life Sciences & Healthcare area and strengthens its presence in the North of Portugal
SRS Legal announces the hiring of Mónica Azevedo as Of Counsel, to join its Life Sciences & Healthcare Department, led by Partner Leonor Pissarra.
In addition to its focus on the pharmaceutical and hospital industries, SRS Legal's Life Sciences & Healthcare Department will now include Medical Law in the range of services it provides to its clients, thus covering the entire spectrum of legal advice to the Health sector.
Based in Porto, Mónica Azevedo's arrival also demonstrates SRS Legal's commitment to the north of the country, to better serve the growing needs of its clients with a presence and activity in that region.
SRS Legal has a multidisciplinary team focused on the north of Portugal, led by Partner Nuno Miguel Prata (Corporate & Finance), which includes Francisco Castro Guedes and Diogo Feio (Tax) and Paulo de Sá e Cunha (Criminal and Sanctions).
SRS Legal set up its office in Porto in 2008, benefiting from a partnership with Andreia Lima Carneiro & Associados, maximising its response capacity.

Mónica Azevedo brings over 15 years' significant experience in the Medical Area, as well as a solid technical background, including a postgraduate qualification in Medical Law from the Portuguese Catholic University in Porto.
Her appointment reflects SRS Legal's commitment to consolidating its position as a benchmark in strategic areas, enabling it to provide excellent legal services throughout Portugal.
