Startup client of SRS Legal and ‘alumna’ of STARTUP Lab by SRS Legal wins the Web Summit Pitch 2024

Portuguese startup Intuitivo - a client of SRS Legal and an alumna of the 2022 edition of the STARTUP Lab by SRS Legal accelerator programme - is the winner of this year's Web Summit Pitch competition.

Intuitivo, led by João Guimarães, is responsible for the digitalisation of assessment tests in Portugal. At the Web Summit, the company was the public's favourite of three startups in the final of the competition, receiving 46% of the public vote.

The competition jury emphasised the founder's ‘excellent work’ in explaining the size of the market and his mission to make technology ‘teachers’ best friend’. ‘I didn't expect it,’ João Guimarães told Observador when he took to the stage to receive the award.

At the start, 105 startups were competing, and over the days they presented their businesses on the centre stage of the Web Summit. Last year's winner was the Brazilian company Inspira, a startup in the legal field.
