‘How data can help prevent talent from leaving companies’ (with Ana Margarida Henriques)

«In a panel debate on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems in processing workers’ data, Ana Margarida Henriques emphasised that there is a risk of fundamental rights being pinched. The Associate in the SRS Employment and Social Security department recalled that the EU recently approved the Regulation on Artificial Intelligence and that it considered ‘AI issues in recruitment and relationship management as high risk’. She emphasised that biometric data processing systems that allow emotions to be recognised are prohibited because they can produce discriminatory results.»
