Interview with the new Managing Partners of SRS Legal, César Sá Esteves and Octávio Castelo Paulo

César Sá Esteves and Octávio Castelo Paulo are the new managing partners of SRS Legal, succeeding Pedro Rebelo de Sousa, who has held this position since 1992.
The partner responsible for the Corporate & Finance Department, Octávio Castelo Paulo is also the head of the Corporate, Commercial and M&A area, as well as TMT (Telecommunications, Media and Technology), and has been recognised by Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500 as Band 1 in Portugal. He is also responsible for SRS's Angola Desk and is a member of the Angolan Bar Association.
César Sá Esteves, partner in charge of the Labour & Social Security Department, is recognised as a leader in Portugal by the main international directories in these areas (Band 1 by Chambers & Partners and Leading Individual by Legal 500). He has experience in all areas of labour and social security law, including litigation. With around 25 years' experience, he has worked in the field of labour law advising companies, particularly in corporate restructuring operations, negotiating IRCTs, managing collective disputes, defining HR policies and contractual models.
