SRS Legal advises Eurobic shareholders on the sale of capital to Abanca

"A team consisting of Gabriela Rodrigues Martins and Alexandra Valente from SRS Legal will advise Eurobic's shareholders on the sale of 57.5 per cent of the bank's capital to Abanca," reads a statement released today.

Abanca will be accompanied by a team from Morais Leitão, led by Eduardo Paulino.

On Wednesday, the Spanish group Abanca announced the purchase of the whole of EuroBic without, however, disclosing the value of the deal.

According to according to Abanca, EuroBic "is a profitable, solid and solvent entity" and with this purchase, it will become "the eighth largest bank in Portugal, with around 18.5 billion in turnover, 249 points of sale and more than 300,000 customers"."
