Alexandra Valente, Partner at SRS Legal, points out that one of the main objectives should be "to make Portugal one of the main investment destinations in Europe over the next few years". Not least because, as she points out, "the Portuguese economy has significant potential for growth and development through the creation of new business opportunities, the modernisation of infrastructures and the development of new technologies."
Improving the competitiveness of the economy and support for exports is another of the challenges left by the SRS partner, who points to the need "to create and strengthen tax incentives for the internationalisation of companies and credit lines for exporting companies".
