A Senior Associate in the Competition department, Rúben has 15 years’ experience in the legal profession, most of which has been as a solicitor.
Before joining SRS Legal, he was an investigator of infringement proceedings at the Anti-Cartel Unit of the Competition Authority, where he also conducted various investigative procedures.
As a solicitor, Rúben has experience in providing legal advice to companies, particularly in the insurance sector, and has represented various clients before the Competition Authority and the courts in infringement proceedings, claims for damages and merger control cases, as well as providing preventative advice. He was named Lawyer of the Year (EU & Competition) at the Iberian Lawyer Forty Under 40 Awards in 2025.
