Carlos has diversified professional experience between law practice, public and private management and academic activity, mainly focused on the financial, capital market, regulatory and energy sectors, having accompanied various national and international operations of corporate restructuring and M&A, as well as ESG, audit, risk and compliance projects.
With nearly 30 years of professional experience, and several published works, he was also Secretary of State for Treasury and Finance and Director of the CMVM and several private companies, the last one being Galp Energia, subsidiary companies and participated associations, such as European Petroleum Industry Association (FuelsEurope), in which he served as Board Member.
