Following the completion of Portugal's successful three year assistance programme, SRS Advogados is launching a new service aimed at assisting technology based operations in Portugal.
This service is specifically addressed to foreign companies and organizations seizing opportunities in outsourcing and in implementing shared service centres in Portugal.
According to Gartner, Portugal offers unique conditions for technology based near shore outsourcing services and shared service centres, the latter representing around 1% of Portuguese GDP.
A more business friendly environment has recently been implemented in Portugal, covering areas such as corporate taxation, labour regulations and reduction of red tape, all aimed at favouring new business ventures and projects based on foreign direct investment (FDI).
SRS Advogados has created a team specifically focused on supporting technology based projects, from outsourcing and shared services centres to FDI. This team will be presenting the advantages offered by the new Portuguese business friendly environment in a number of jurisdictions.
