Luís Neto Galvão contributed to the organisation of the Digital Networks Act – Digital Networks Regulation conference, promoted by APDSI, in his capacity as a Member of the Association's Board of Directors. The event took place on 2 July 2026 at the Portuguese Communications Foundation and concluded with closing remarks delivered by the SRS Legal Partner leading the firm's TMT and Data Protection and Cybersecurity practice areas.
The conference brought together representatives from some of the sector's leading organisations, including Miguel Pinto Luz, Minister of Infrastructure and Housing, Sandra Maximiano, Chair of ANACOM, Miguel Moura e Silva, Member of the Board of the Portuguese Competition Authority, António Coimbra, President of APRITEL, Luís Salvador Pisco, from DECO's Legal and Economic Department, as well as representatives from Vodafone Portugal, NOS and AWS, to discuss the future Digital Networks Regulation (Digital Networks Act) and its impact on electronic communications and digital infrastructure.
The initiative fostered a broad discussion on the future European regulatory framework, exploring the challenges and opportunities to strengthen competitiveness, encourage investment and innovation, and promote more resilient, high-quality digital networks.
