SRS Legal organizes conference "Portugal, a Successful Destination" in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
SRS Legal held on the 7th of November in São Paulo and 8th of November in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil the conference "Portugal, Successful Destination".
In a time of global financial uncertainties Portugal presents itself as a strategic destination for investments and residence. SRS Legal, in a joint initiative with Santander Private Banking and JLL, held two events on investment opportunities in Portugal, as well as the legal and tax attractions for individuals and corporations in the westernmost country of continental Europe.
The conference on 7 November took place at the headquarters of Banco Santander in São Paulo, with the support of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce of São Paulo. It was attended by the Head of Private Banking of Santander Brazil and Portugal, Vitor Ohtsuki and Lourenço Vieira de Campos; the President of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce of São Paulo, Nuno Rebelo de Sousa; the Managing Partner, the partner of the Tax department and the Head of the Brazilian Desk of SRS Legal, Pedro Rebelo de Sousa, Mafalda Alves and Milene Charles Scheiba-Zorrón; and the Managing Director of JLL, Pedro Lancastre.
The conference on 8 November took place at BMA Advogados, in Rio de Janeiro, with the support of this law firm, the International Trade Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association of Rio de Janeiro and the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Rio de Janeiro. The event was attended by BMA Advogados partner Hermano Barbosa; the President of the International Trade Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association of Rio de Janeiro, Luciano Caldas; the Head of Private Banking of Santander Portugal, Lourenço Vieira de Campos; the Managing Partner, the Tax Department partner and the Head of the Brazilian Desk of SRS Legal, Pedro Rebelo de Sousa, Mafalda Alves and Milene Charles Scheiba-Zorrón; and the Managing Director of JLL, Pedro Lancastre.
On the same day, the Portuguese delegation was received at the General Consulate of Portugal in Rio de Janeiro, for a lunch with businesspeople, chaired by the Consul General, Gabriela Soares de Albergaria.
