SRS Legal hosted and co-organized, with Imojuris and Vida Imobiliária, the IMOJURIS Seminar on “The impact on the real estate market of changes to the ‘Land Law’ (RJIGT),” an initiative that brought together experts and key entities to discuss the future of urban planning and land use in Portugal.
The session was opened by Pedro Rebelo de Sousa, Senior Partner at SRS Legal, followed by Alexandre Roque, partner responsible for Urban Planning and Land Use, who provided a legal framework for the subject and presented the main changes to the RJIGT.
Alexandre Roque also moderated a panel discussion with Cláudia Beirão Lopes (Director of Architecture and Urban Planning at Reify), Paula Cristina Cabral (Director of the Urban Management Department at Oeiras Municipal Council), Paulo Pais (Director of the Municipal Urban Development Department at Almada Municipal Council) and Pedro Vicente (CEO of Overseas).
The closing remarks were given by Neuza Pereira de Campos, partner in charge of the Real Estate Department at SRS Legal.
It was an afternoon of reflection, sharing, and constructive dialogue on the practical implications of the new rules and their impact on how we plan the territory.
