In May 2025, the Commission for the Review of Tax Processes and Procedures and Taxpayer Safeguards presented its Final Report, which included a wide range of proposed amendments to the General Tax Law, the Code of Tax Procedure and Process (CPPT), the Legal Framework for Tax Arbitration, and other legislation. These recommendations served as the starting point for the legislative package that the Government would eventually approve.
