SRS Legal Shots - European Commission adopts Guidelines on abuses of a dominant position with exclusionary effects

SRS Legal’s Competition and European Union Department has published a new ‘Legal Shot’ on the European Commission’s Guidelines on abuses of a dominant position with exclusionary effects.

Adopted on 3 September 2026, the new Guidelines replace those of 2009 and introduce significant changes to the analysis of practices such as exclusivity agreements, predatory pricing, tied sales and self-preferencing.
